BRETTDOG has been involved in music and performing all his life.  Music has provided Brett the opportunity to see the world and enjoy performing for thousands!
BRETTDOG plays guitar, saxophone, keyboards, flute, drums, and bass guitar.  His vocals range from backing up TIMDOG, to pefecting harmonies with RONDOG, to focusing on the new rock/alternative songs the YARDDOGS play.

BRETTDOG is a Charter Member of the Fresno State Bulldog Beat, a founding member of 5 Minutes to Spare, and was a multi-instrument performer in the United States Marine Corps Band field.

BRETTDOG started his first band with RONDOG and they both learned how to do things right by watching and performing with TIMDOG.
In 2001, BRETTDOG completed 4 years of active duty in the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Marine Corps Band Field.  He was recalled to active duty 2003 and 2004 to serve in the Marine Corps Reserves at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, CA.  On 15 OCT 2004, Brett was officially honorably discharged from the Marine Corps.
